Hi Nathan can I please substitute in Hometown Boy in the first as Polish is a non runner and leave Come On teddy as reserve if possible. If not then just put in the reserve as runner. Thanks either way

This ended up the closest result yet..
Euroalien’s massive 120 points on the final day edged out Kris by 0.8 points both Napping Minella Times
aswell as napping the National winner Euro picked up points with all of Tea Clipper, Minella Drama, Funambule Sivolla, Thyme Hill, Burrows Saint but still needed the winning points of Knappers Hill in the last to overhaul Kris.
The drama wasn’t over there either as I had to go back to day 2 and deduct points from Euro for a late entry after non runners taking 20% of his 6 points from new changes (as of page 1 of rules) but Andre kept his head in front by the closet of margins.
Well done Euroalien and unlucky Kris
Fisherman70 couldn’t quite hold on to his overnight lead but finished a creditable 3rd ahead of Mike

Great job Andre (EuroAlien) you’ve run up some superb tallies in the
competitions, but your final day in this one was a bit special, very
    well done :good:

Kris it must feel like a kick in the wotsits going down by that margin,
but great effort along with Fisherman in 3rd.

Thanks again Nathan for running this one, believe it or not I thoroughly
enjoyed it, despite being a hair’s breadth away from the wooden spoon

Pipped at the post, but well played in the end Euroalien, and well done to Fisherman too.

When I won this two years ago, I don’t think I had a winning bet, but at least I managed two or three this time.

Thanks again for all your efforts Nathan, I’m sure it’s appreciated by all.

What an exciting finish and well done Andre (Euroalien) just pipping poor Kris at the post you managed to achieve more points in one day than I did in 3, although that wasn’t too difficult.
Really well done to both yourself Kris and Fisher Man. :yahoo:

Thanks Nathan for doing this and your expert scoring made it a real page turner of a finish..Dick Francis couldn’t have dreamed up a more exciting finish.

Looking forward to Newmarket and the flat season compy starting Tuesday at The Craven Meeting. See you all there. :bye: Jac

Wow – Thanks everyone. What a crazy finish! I took a few chances with my selections because I was so far behind after the first two days. I was just hoping to sneak into the top 3 after I calculated my score, never expecting to win it all. Congrats to Kris & Fisherman what a close contest.

Big thanks to Nathan for tallying the points and running these contests. Win or lose they are a lot of fun.

WD Euroalien (were you watching Champ’s RSA for inspiration or something?? Or Rummy mowing down Crisp?) and Kris lost nothing in defeat getting chinned on the line. What a finish!! Well done Fisherman too and sterling work as always Nathan :good:
