[b:165po9mu]TRF 2013 SUMMER WORLD SERIES OF TIPPING[/b:165po9mu]
To find TRF’s most profitable tipster AND to see how we all stack up against the legendary Tom Segal Pricewise. (If two Pricewise selectors give tips on the same day – only Tom Segal’s tips to count. If Tom Segal is not tipping on a day – his stand-in’s tips will count).
Rules –
Starts 2000 Guineas Day Saturday 4th May, ends on British Champions Day (If postponed the competition will continue to the rearranged date). NB Competition is open to those betting on JUMPING as well as FLAT.
Qualifying days – Every SATURDAY and SUNDAY,
PLUS ALL days at ROYAL ASCOT, GLORIOUS GOODWOOD (late July/early August meeting), NEWMARKRT (July Cup meeting) and YORK EBOR meeting. Jump enthusiasts may prefer to bet on the National Hunt meetings on the days of the (above) bigger flat meetings.The aim –
Simply to try and get as much profit to a LEVEL STAKE as possible
The mechanics –
You need to post ALL selections for ALL races on the day’s racing by 1:00pm day of race. Any selections in races before 1:00pm will obviously need to be selected before off time.
Your selections will be settled at SP or (if clearly marked) TOTE price or nominate a BOARD PRICE with a particular bookmaker.
NB. BOARD PRICES MUST be nominated before BEFORE 9:00AM morning of race! We’ll do spot checks on availability of prices. It must be a bookmaker price (no exchanges) and must be a bookmaker who normally features in the Pricewise table. Anyone posting bogus prices will be a)banned from the comp and b)held up to ridiculeYou may post UP TO 3 selections PER RACE in as many and whatever races you like, provided they are in Britain or Ireland. ONLY race outside GB & I to count in the competition is the ARC DE TRIOMPHE (no supporting races either). For anyone posting more than 3 selectins in a race only the first 3 posted will count.
Selections can be posted at any time after final declarations time.

WIN singles ONLY (for ease of scoring)
Pricewise selections will be those published in the paper only – i.e no Pricewise Extra selections, (As I do not buy the Racing Post, I could do with a volunteer who buys the paper to post these – Anyone?)
NO EDITS – although you can add selections with more than one post per day’s racing. But once you’ve posted a selection you cannot withdraw it! Non-runners are void bets.
You may nominate TOTE price at any time up to 1:00 pm.
Any selection without nominating a BOARD price or Tote… will be treated as SP.
BOARD prices nominated AFTER 9 am on the day of the race will be treated as SP.
NOTE – Board prices must be with a bookmaker that appears in Pricewise table – strictly NO exchange prices either.

Hot Fuss put us all to shame Royal Ascot week, +22.5 an outstanding effort; going from 13th place to 2nd. Original 2nd Pricewise has an awful time of it, from +29 to -1. So Red Rum increases his lead despite showing a small loss on Royal Ascot week. Other than Hot Fuss, the only other profit was made by Andrew_03, almost putting him in the black. All bar 5 of us now in the red, we could do so much better.
A reminder: TRFers need to post in at least 50% of Saturdays to qualify at the end of the competition.
