    Can anyone remember who it was i`m sure it was a woman and quite a few years ago ,wondered if anyone remembers.

    I remember Takeover Target being very hairy at Royal Ascot one year. Not sure if he ran shoeless though. :)

    Don’t know about unclipped but Simon Earle used to run most of his horses unshod when training at Warminister.

    I’ve seen quite a few horses this year at the Sandpit who have run without shoes. Plenty unclipped too.

    Think Sue & Harvey Smith have run horses unshod or partly shod.
