Mamlook
comes into the race in good form and will love the conditions and big field. Has a touch of class and should be thereabouts.

On your recommendation I’ve stuck him in a "fun" yankee kicking off with stable companion Muirhead in the Red Mills
February 13, 2010 at 15:40 #276183well done winners a few shouted that!
February 13, 2010 at 16:09 #276211Ronaldo Des Mottes was probably in front for too long but the winner appeared to have an absolute ton in hand. No surprise if he is the best of our novices. I would have him well above Menorah.
February 13, 2010 at 21:30 #276373I backed Get Me Out Of Here and Ronaldo Des Mottes a few weeks ago.
Excellent stuff there Stilvi, what prices did you get?

Thanks, 16/1 & 14/1 – they were my first bets of the year on 22 January. After last year I made it a policy to try and avoid backing when the ground was generally heavy.
A one-two in a race like this is something you pretty much know won’t happen again.
February 14, 2010 at 02:15 #276494Well done to those who backed the well supported fav.
Funny how Harry Tricker, a horse that is supposedly proven in the hurly burly of such a contest, is one of only two fallers!
At least we know Fairyland was not good enough.
