At least you don’t back half the field like I do! Still sweet on Dayia, especially now she’s got a good draw. Less weight than last year. Needs a bit of give in the ground which I think she’ll get. Also like Deauville Flyer and Aaim to Prosper.
This was my exact thoughts last night. Except I was three sentences into typing out reasoning for La Vecchia Scuola, deleted it and went with Dayia and Aaim to Prosper. I couldn’t rely on La Veccs stamina. Deauville Flyer – I was looking at him at 25/1 and then last night saw his price and couldn’t take it after seeing the 25s
October 16, 2010 at 21:42 #322839Just got back in after a day out in London with the loved one only to find out i’ve had 3 of the 1st 5 in the Cesarewich.
Thanks to Nulty for the Aaim to Prosper tip – got on at 33s on Monday (may have done it anyway as an ex-Channon horse)- also had La Vecchia Scuola e/w at 33s thanks to another tip on here, plus Palamor at 40s (my own e/w pick). That’s more than paid for the Billy Elliot day-out
October 16, 2010 at 22:58 #322853There was a race at York on 24th of July that I kept going back to; featured Dazinski, Dayia, La Vecchia Scuola, Palomar and Oceans Minstrel. Backed all of them for the Cesarewitch
except Oceans Minstrel who I didn’t fancy. Going to watch out for that race again next year. Got a bit obsessed with the ‘horses need to have had a long break’ stat. La Vecchia Scuola was well fancied for a lot of races last year, but I kept reading that her stamina was a bit doubtful. Yet again a good claiming jockey makes all the difference. Was ages before there was a jockey booking for Aaim to Prosper [was beginning to think he was a doubtful runner]; wonder if the trainer was looking for the right claimer. I do love these handicaps.
October 16, 2010 at 23:59 #322860Very tentative selections in Dayia who I backed along with Mith Hill in her only win this year at Haydock.
Aaim to Prosper is one I have backed but have never seen win money out of. Hopefully that will change tomorrow.
Both stay the trip although Aim To Prosper is touch and go.
He owes me nothing!

Great pick, Nulty.
You should rename yourself – "The New Ante-Post King!"
*meeeeooooooooooooooow*
Reet, please don’t back anything I tip on here, you seem such a nice fellow!
