I’ve noticed Tote Trifectas generally pay quite alot more than standard tricasts. Same with exactas.
The bonus on Saturdays can also be quite substantial.

Does anyone on here often do Tote trifectas?
Any luck with them?

I think they could be quite a clever bet if done properly

Any tote bets (in this case the Trifectas ) are pool bets and depend on how many winning tickets they are and their respective value. While a tricast or forecast is set by a formula based on SP.

In the cases of the Trifecta being bigger than the tricast it simply means less on the winning combination is staked.

The forecast and exacta are usually around the same.

The Saturday rollover can make the bet worthwhile but I get the impression there are professionals playing this each week at low commission who tend to saturate the betting – so not so good for the average punter paying full commission.
