In the Racing Post so called Celebrities are giving their 10 to follow, today was the turn of Richard Oiles.
What i would like to know is:-
Are the Tote paying for these entries themselves?or are they simply being bunged into the Pool thus the end user is paying?or is someone else paying (ie Racing post)
If they are simply bungling into the pool surely that cannot be correct? or have i missed something.
whats the standard when they are reducing entry costs or giving some type of benefit, is the end user paying or are the takeouts taking this into consideration.
November 11, 2007 at 17:46 #124231Hello,
Sorry Tony, who exactly is getting free entries?
Plus how does one qualify as a Celebrity?? are they not a box of Chocolates…?

I am puzzled as a TV show starts next week with an ant and declarartion presenting it, how? God knows!!!, Special Effects I suppose.
It is called "I am a Celebrity Get me Out of Here" and set in the jungle. From my education, admittedly in the sixties, it is hot in the jungle. Therefore a Celebrity would melt pretty quickly and if it is one of your favourites and wish to devour it, you should get it out of there!!

Tony I am only being sarcastic, I hate the word Celebrity and all it entails…..who exactly is getting freebies?

November 11, 2007 at 18:03 #124241Sorry i didn`t make it clearer, edited now!!
and only yesterday i was having a go at MickeyMo for not putting up the whole story……..its the sun getting to me!!
November 11, 2007 at 19:47 #124262Just to clarify entries are given a free entry into the main competition with any winnings (fat chance) going to a nominated charity.
Separate contest amongst those ‘celebrities’ (their title – most definitely not mine) for some champagne.
Hope that helps.November 11, 2007 at 23:22 #124301Hello,
Thnak you Richard, I have just recently found out that the chocolates are called Celebrations not Celebrities…
So my previous post about a chocolate in the jungle are still prevalent, but must give way to a mis-spelt name of the accused..
By the way Richard are you are Celebration??
