A market I rarely consider, but even taking the ’emotion’ out of it, I think AP is too big at 14s with Betway.

I thinks he lacks the fire power behind the Riccis, Gigginstown, Munir/Suedes and other unexposed Henderson horses. Therefore his price is just about correct. Plus he rarely rides Cheltenham as good as Ruby or Barry. What he could win is the final race of the Festival in which his mount will go off at around 3/1 I reckon. I think that is a race everybody wants him to win.

Ruby obviously very short with his book of rides but no fun and no point of a bet at current odds…

I thought Sam Twiston-Davies looked interesting for a fun bet at 16’s….if Ruby doesn’t get the winners people think he will then Sam may be the one to take advantage if some of the hotpots fail to fire…

The New One and Blaklion look to have solid chances for his old man…maybe one or two others….and then for Nicholls he looks to have a fair bit of ammo…vibrato valtat….Southfield Theatre….Dodging Bullets…Ptit Zig (?)….Saphir De Rheu…..a few others….plus I’m sure he’ll have plenty of others in handicaps etc….Nicholls usually wins one or two…

Don’t forget jockeys like Geraghty, Johnson and Cooper. They all know how to win at the Festival and their trainers have plenty of lightly raced or unexposed horses.
Ruby is way too short…. And yes STD has very interesting and solid looking rides.

If Sam is 16/1, I’d say he’s worth risking a few bob on.

I'd like to live in a place where they cordon off swans...

Yes, that’s a fair argument for STD. It will also make for childish headlines going into the last day ‘Can anyone catch STD?’

If you are patient enough and will place your bet after the 5th race of day one you might easily get 20/1 the field in running. Ruby has four odds-on shots in the first five races. If only two of them win the field might be easily at around 10/1. Then you can still decide to have a go or not. If Ruby wins all four races then the bet is over and you kust save your cash.
