Last two both WON!.I reckon 6pts dropped in total so bank now at 231 but stake stays at 50, the 10 pt bank has to cover all eventualities. Good test now..

Last one WINs as well! We will give up here, but only on the USA side. The UK side we are well in front, and its the one that matters. The UK markets are bigger by a factor of over 100. Also the USA side is too time consuming. You live and learn. Started this paper test on the 1st Jan.., so will go back and redo the figures for UK only, and continue. Be back later with tomorrows UK selections..
all the best

Southwell tomorrow, here are my selections. The bank is 115 so stake at 11.
SOUTH..12.40 Machinist…lost his pace, at this price no danger anyway.
1.00 Ambrogina..coming back from 8f, not enough experience.
1.40 Obe Gold..up against a good course specialist.
3.40 The Love Guru…not good enough.
all the best..
January 4, 2010 at 22:28 #267713hi malkyboy, what happened over there, was going to follow you up,but got stuck watching the world embassy dart in uk,and as i used to play for my county i knew most of the players, made a nice wad, tell me which do you prefer usa racing or uk ,as you seem to mind like uk,i can never catch usa nags ,

Yes thanks Gimcrack. The USA racing you would need to specialize in it, you can not do speed analysis like I was. So you played darts for you,re country, you can,t be Jocky Scott! No you can,t, he was iliterate! Good you made some money. Bedtime for me, all the best..

Thanks Gimcrack, I think Lingfield be OK, dunno Kempton. Staking, I assume 10 pts bank for my paper excersize. This is to keep me on my toes! Real life would need to be min. 15 pts, more like 20 pts.The main thing is to produce a level stake profit, keep doing that, the staking is not a problem. Just an update last 61 LAYs on UK side have given +29 pts at levels. Thats good, but I know I can do better. Certainly posting on here has improved my selection process, and strategy. Strategy I mean simple things, like should I just make two or three selections per day, or have a long list of all I consider good LAYs. Turns out, yes, less is more! I show more profit with just two or three selections daily than longer lists. Did not know that before, and thats the power of evolution, shows you which way to go, if you listen. Time for bed again… see you the mornin.
all the best..
January 6, 2010 at 11:03 #268171you can do better i hear to say ,? +29 from 61 at levels stakes ,how many winners will determine your average price range, and u probably know that concentrating very short prices with eventually increase the winners, and by limiting your amount of selections per day may look all right but may be delaying the inevitable,BUT i do not know your process of selecting your lays,so with respect your method may have found the holy grail,if so its better to find out sooner than later, makes sense to me,and if the method or system is not you will know well before you draw your pension, lol lol.sorry if this sound like a lesson its not meant to be,you did mention that you were paper testing, suggests that you do not have donkey years of well tested records, what ive found that what works 6 or 7 years ago starts to have the opposite effect, and the world recession certainly has not help either,as every small owner/trainers/ect ect are turning to having a gamble to make ends meet, when a average race at a a/w meeting race attracts 1/2million on a monday/tuesday,makes you think, so its a constant battle to make sure your sel method has the ability to keep one step ahead of the changes and the pack,it aint easy,
