7.50 VALENTINO SWING Kempton 5pts ew [max bet]
The selections last visit/race at kempton puts him in with a great chance of winning this event if he can reproduce that run again. That day Neil Chalmers got the selection in a little trouble towards the end of the race , still only beaten 3 lengths but should have won that day.
That mistake will not happen today im sure and with everything again in the selections favour will run a big race thus recommending VALENTINO SWING a maximum each way bet.

3.30 MISTER GREEN Southwell 4pts ew
Mister green had some very tough races last year and is now coming into form ( run in 20k 30k races last year). This horse has the right credentials to run well on this Southwell surface ( 1st run here )and the 1 mile trip is ideal.
This horse is from a small yard but with Doyle(has won for trainer recently)aboard is not there for a day out.
The only reason this is not a max 5 pt each way bet is that it has not proven on this surface……..yet.6.30 APPLE DUMPLING Wolv 2pts ew
This race should be won by a handicap debutant as the others look exposed to me . They are Imperial Fong who has been tried on all surfaces suggesting they dont know where they are with this animal yet – so will wait till it has proven , Delagoa Bay will do better at Kempton – its only run at wolverhampton suggests this surface dont suit – think trainer is just running it here and then will take it to kempton in the near future – then will be worth a bet.
Reachforthebucks hasnt shown enough yet to recommend and Volcanic Lady has shown a hint of ability but not enough and is slightly out the handicap …but will win races.
That leaves APPLE DUMPLING…run well enough here last time and fairly weighted back here in its 1st handicap and is sure to go close in this weak race.7.30 SLIGO ALL STAR Wolver 1pt ew
Cannot leave this selection out for a place at least . Fine run last time here and any slight improvement again will go close in this.
8.00 BROMHEAD Wolver 5pts ew (max bet)
Trainer knows the time of day and the selection has hit some good form of late – finishing 2nd and 1st in its last 2 races…over the jumps!
Not only that but not surprising he is running here because has shown ability on this surface and would have been much closer on its last run here if not short of room in the closing stages. Andrea Atzeni has been booked for an obvious reason.
