TIMOURID 3rd to both Galileo Chrome and Serpentine goes hurdling

Makes hurdles debut and I think this one may have a chance here. One of three runners for Dennis Hogan.
Has all the raw attributes I like in a flat horse going hurdling and in terms of pedigree beat serpentine when in close blanket finish behind Gallileo Chrome. Next race was well beaten but third to Serpentine in a race in which the subsequent derby winner improved by two stone. With Chrome going on to St Leger glory, the form is as strong as could be had.
With a rating of 89 Timourid only ran again in may so the rating may well be much higher now. He was bumped on the bend and finished in rear that day. Must have a good chance if taking to hurdles with a decent flat pedigree sired by Gleneagles out of Galileo. The young jockey on board hasn’t had much time in the saddle recently but is competent and rode Bal de Rio to win twice rated 122. He also claims four pounds. Aga Khan bred.
Stable noted for getting them ready and won the first juvenile hurdle of the season.

We won’t know now until he runs again.
Came down at the third.
Never great when a selection doesn’t get a run.
Main thing is hope both horse and rider are ok.
