Saddened to see his name on another memorial page after a heavy fall at Bangor yesterday. Seems to have been around forever, probably due to his 47 runs. Only 7 though, R.I.P.
That’s awful news and so unexpected. I didn’t see the race, came in just as the commentator was saying they all thought it was bad news but, to everyone’s surprise, he’d got up ok. So this is very sad to see.
Shaun Lycett posted that they had been relieved to see him get up but, when he was x-rayed at the stables, he was found to have fractured vertebrae in his neck. They sent the x-rays on to specialists who confirmed it was too severe to save him. Everyone is, understandably, devastated. Seems he was much loved
