Braeside goes for a ball of chalk and runs accordingly.
Shall we open a market on which Cheltenham handicap it will win by several lengths hard on the bridle? 😉
January 27, 2022 at 15:20 #1580067EDR needs to improve his jumping

He drifted markedly in the market for his biggest win to date Cork…..
He’s also off 148 in ENG so i don’t know which…

Hindsight is 20/20 so make the most of it!January 27, 2022 at 15:21 #1580070Eklat De Rire raced prominently until his jumping fell apart on the second circuit. What Jerry Hannon described as a ‘small mistake’ early on the circuit looked like a ‘hit it halfway up’ to me, but I’m often at odds with ‘premier’ Irish caller.
January 27, 2022 at 15:30 #1580073A little upset about not taking the 25s but I’d have had that each way and had a few quid win only today at 13.5 on betfair (put up in my thread) so still happy
Franco de port ran an absolute belter
And escaria ten had a lovely run round, all roads lead to Aintree hopefully
January 27, 2022 at 15:31 #1580074EDR’s jumping was a bit dodgy even when when he won first time out this season in a small race at Wexford. Maybe those field sizes suit him better than the hurly burly of big handicaps like Newbury and today.
January 27, 2022 at 15:35 #1580076Certainly looked that way CAS
January 27, 2022 at 15:46 #1580077I’m glad some of you got the e.w prices about Franco but watching the race they,ll be disappointed he didn’t win , wonder where they,ll place him next
January 27, 2022 at 15:56 #1580079No fallers, no unseated riders. Strikes me as unusual for a race of this nature. Not that I am complaining of course.
BUY THE SUN
January 27, 2022 at 16:43 #1580086Wonder if they’d try the irish national with him HDLG
Would be a test of his stamina but he stayed well today and that’ll likely be on better ground
January 27, 2022 at 17:00 #1580088Well done FF, viking and Mike.

Longhouse Poet, Franco de Port and Ontheropes are all high enough to get into the Grand National and all jump well enough for it and go ok on decent ground, albeit Franco is only 7. Job done for Escaria Ten, a little canter round and knock a pound or two off.
Mister Fogpatches for the Scottish National again?
Coko Beach for Cheltenham presumably.January 27, 2022 at 17:07 #1580090Thanks greenasgrass
Regarding Coko Beach I think they where aiming him at the cross country chase Cheltenham

January 27, 2022 at 17:17 #1580091Oh right- he seems a decent sort for that.
January 27, 2022 at 17:18 #1580092There,s no guarantee he,d get the distance though , prob worth a go
January 27, 2022 at 17:46 #1580097Would they really run coko beach against tiger roll?
Gordon would be gutted if tiger finished 2nd to coko beach
January 27, 2022 at 18:17 #1580100Well that was the original plan but I just checked his entries and not listed in early entries. Although still in betting market for the race
