2:30 Perth – Smart Street is favorite but I have my doubts about him being so effective on this soft ground and some of the other horses may not be at their best on it. I’m going for Little Bob who likes the soft and has been improving steadily over the hurdles this winter. Backed e/way at 8/1. One outsider with a chance is Talesofriverbank.
2s on BF looks  fair enough about fav Artimino in the 7.5 F handicap at Beverley (3.25). He was probably unluckily drawn in a couple of races last year and was handy around Warwick. Obviously this miler would prefer a bit more give but I’m counting on Spencer’s artistry to win cheekily on him and get Fanshawe turf season going.
