    Good morning fellow golfers.

Firstly we have a lot to live up to this week after last weeks combined efforts, one of our best cumulative returns for sometime :D .

Ok onto the task ahead then and i will begin with the next round in the Race To Dubai quest, that being the Alfred Dunhill Championship here’s hoping that our respective players perform well, at first glance Charl Schwartzel would appear to hold the best chance of a home victory and is priced accordingly and i for one feel that he must go well so he will be my 1st selection here.

Rory Mcilroy will be the next to have me looking over his shoulder as i feel that elusive 1st victory will happen at somepoint soon.

Finally for me here and i am going to row in with another South African who it has to be said is somewhat unpredictable but i feel at the odds available he merits a second look, so here’s hoping for a good showing from Darren Fichardt.

Ok back down under next for the third leg of the Australian swing, that being The Australian Open and after last weeks exploits i have no hesitation in going with Geoff Ogilvy again, here’s hoping he can continue in the same vein.

Darren Clarke will be next up to the plate for me, i have a feeling that he could have a good week.

For my final choice here i am going to go with Scott Strange who i very nearly did last week and what’s more he very nearly rubbed my face in it, so at the odds available this week again i feel he merits a second look.

Finally for me and the last Tournament on the Ladies European Tour this season, this being the Dubai Ladies Masters.

For those of you who are not aware this marks the end of the road as a professional for a lady who can be very proud and also satisfied with her career so i will wish Annika Sorenstam a happy retirement as she now turns her attention to other matters.

As regards backing her i said to a few people back earlier in the year when news of her retirement reached the public that whatever happens between now and her final tournament that i would back her to hopefully go out in a blaze of glory and nothing since has made me want to change my mind and after last weeks gains i will have a decent investment as she goes for a hat-rick of victory’s to hopefully put he finishing touches to a quite brilliant career.

As with such a scenario there will be plenty of others wanting to play the Party Pooper :) and Annika aside this is a good field., so for regular viewers it will come as no surprise that some of my usual suspects will be plying their trade for me one last time this year.

The first of those will be Gwladys Nocera who it has to be said has had a darn good year and for one i feel she would like to round it off in the best style possible.

Next and step forward Paula Marti who it has to be said has flattered to deceive on more than one occassion this year without unfortunately getting over the line in front, if she can manage it this week then i might just let her off sending me a bottle of Sangria for Xmas.

Finally here and a couple of English Ladies beginning firstly with Melissa Reid who it has to be said has not fulfilled her lofty expectations she has probably set herself this year but hopefully she can bow out this year on a high before being one of my regulars next year.

Samantha Head gets the last vote here just ahead of Iben Tinning who if not having the same problem as last year when she visited the bar a few minutes early to present the Tournament to Annka will i’m sure be there or there abouts, but for me i’m hoping to be at the Head of proceedings again  come Sunday Afternoon if all else fails.

Well that will do it for me for now so as always the Best Of Luck to all partaking.

    Cheers.

    Adrian.

Good luck to Adrian and anybody else betting on the golf this week.

The race to Dubai moves to South Africa and it’s the Alfred Dunhill Championship at the Leopard Creek course which my first selection Charl Schwartzel is very familiar with and he has won this event in the past so here’s hoping for a repeat victory. I’m also betting on Rory Mcilroy to gain his first win on the Euro tour after his recent good efforts. My other choices are both South african and are Louis Oosthuizen and Hennie Otto.

There is another golf tournament in Australia this week with the Australian Open and after Geoff Ogilvy won his first professional event in his native country last week, I’m betting that his friend Adam Scott will now also manage to get his first professional win in Australia. I think that Richard Green is worth another chance and I noticed that Brett Rumford and John Senden both played well recently so my money is on them to win this week.

    Happy punting :)

    Good Luck Guys

    NO Bets for me

In the Dunhill, think Westwood and more so Schwartzel are worthy market leaders and at biger odds Richard Sterne catches the eye
As for the Australian i like Oglivy but he is priced about right.though have heard positive vibes from good judges about John Senden
