The ubiquitous Clare Balding

With Clare Balding popping up so often outside of racing, you would think that hers is a face everyone knows by now. Sadly for Clare on BBC quiz show Pointless, it didn’t quite work like that. Faced with five photos of famous sports commentators, of whom Clare was one, the contestants made the Racing connection relatively quickly. Sadly for them, and Clare perhaps, they thought it was Jenny Pitman!!

Still it could have been worse, the other team thought that the delectable Hazel Irvine, from the world of Snooker and Golf, was ex Emmerdale actress Lisa Riley. Jeepers
