With effect from today, I’m including all qualifiers as selections. Instead of using the most valuable handicap of the day, any handicap where the RP top-rated is 100+(flat) or 130+(jumps) will be considered. This should provide more bets and also give a better indication of whether or not this approach has any possibilities. I’ll put the value of the handicap after the race time.

think this is a good move, hope so for your system anyway.
i’ve noticed that on many days there are 2 or 3 or more that could easily have been selections, had it not been for the overall criteria of The most valuable h’cap.

Hi snowman,
I think I’m also influenced by the fact that I’ve missed a few good winners by just concentrating on one race a day. The other qualifiers have produced 35 selections with 4 winners at 10/3, 16/1, 9/1 and 9/1,which would have put the system into profit. During this period, the two systems I am trialling have outperformed my usual form/ratings based approach(the one I put my money on), so although I’m pleased to see them doing alright, it does raise questions about my more convential method of finding profitable bets.Maybe, for me, the winds of change are in the air.
