Incidentally, I thought it was a reasonable enough piece as an introduction to the subject, if a little lightweight. It clearly wasn’t aimed at an audience who understand compiling odds lines in depth already, and that is fair enough.
Think everyone realises we are talking about a "100% tissue" Robert; not a bookmakers tissue or handkerchief.
Not from what they have written GT.
They appear as befuddled as your good self as to what a "tissue" is or was.Its a method used and proffered by some to distract from the real objective of punting, SELECTING WINNERS.
If you get 50% winners it’s fine if they are all priced 2/1 or more but not so good if they are all priced 1/2 or less.
I note two similar threads are on the go at present regarding this subject, and from past experience they tend to be ‘light the blue touch paper and retire’ territory!
