You guys used to have the cleanest racing in the world. Horses were relied upon to keep a straight line.
These days it resembles a smash up derby.
BUCCELLATI would have been in the finish of the Coronation Cup.
You better believe i am talking through my kick, i am bloody ropable.

Bring back the relegation rule and strictly police it.
June 5, 2009 at 18:32 #232192I haven’t seen a replay but I thought that Buccellati had no right to go up the rail there
June 5, 2009 at 18:48 #232196At Epsom in particular a move up the rail might be considered injudicious.
June 5, 2009 at 19:42 #232204I backed Andrew Balding’s horse and must admit I thought if Buick made any sort of mistake (and I don’t know if he did) it was his position on the inside from a long way out. It was always going to be extremely difficult to pull-out from that position or (as he attempted) go for a run on the inside. Think it was Carson in one of his rare moments of lucidity when he said that it was the sort of move that may have won a G1 race, and today it didn’t work out for him.
As for Murtagh getting a 5 day ban.. well I’m absolutely staggered by that.
