I’m seriously considering starting to bet each way, as the P/L would look so much prettier.

I doubt many punters will clock onto this, but Ascendant is 33/1 for the 5:15 at the minute. I think this is pretty generous from the bookmakers, considering it’s form.
Has been hurdling but before that was a useful performer more predominantly on the AW, running well in better races than this and even winning one, off of 10lb higher than today. Danny Brock takes off a further 3lb, and the visor is reapplied after hurdling without it. Don’t think this a particularly strong race, and feel 33/1 is too big to ignore.

Closing Ceremony with a GAME performance! 650 points returned from the first race means I can sit back and relax. Anything from now is indeed a huge bonus.
