Just got back from down royal, and had a good old day out but the last race just had me fuming. Did anyone see the race?

Went on The Last Draw in the last at 20s, who looked by far the best horse of the lot in the paddock (probably one to follow), and my mate went on the favorite Ballymac at 6/4.

Its on the At The Races website, what a farce.

Its never as funny when its your horse. :(

    Bad luck.

It was the jockeys fault as they clearly had already passed that point once on the first circuit.

    You would have won.

Looked after the race, and in fairness to the two jockeys, they were riding into the low sun with a bit of a glare. Still not an excuse for me though as they had about 2 furlongs to see the the rail in front of them.

You would think they would have familiarised themselves with the layout beforehand, it wasnt even as if the horses drifted over, they were put there.

Seriously? Someone would have to have been pretty game to offer 1000s…

Last Draw is a horse I think I’ll be following though, looked a real stamp of a horse today as did Bailey View who beat powerstation.

Last Draw is out in the last at navan today and is 16-1 with paddy power, think if he handles the ground he has a massive chance, this looked a decent horse in the making to me last time.
