I couldn’t think of any title to name this system so named it after Billion’s new job as both are a bit of hard work.
Not sure if it’s any good, probably not but it cant do no harm following it for a bit and posting selections and results.
These are the rules I’ve constructed.
Running again up to 7 days of last race.
Ignore a winner LTO.
Check last race opening price and sp (sporting life show this).
The horse with the biggest % difference from op to sp becomes the selection if bigger than 5%.The madness in the method I guess is the horse has been backed maybe due a win and the quick return is they fancy it could run well/better?

The only thing worse than being talked about is not being talked about. Delighted you survived your first week at work. What you gonna spend your first wage packet on……?

Nathan
, when you have financed a project you don’t get paid.
But if I followed these tips of yours I could retire to Norfolk.
How come you only scored 12 points in the comp. this week?

Is this a Stop At A Winner thread?

Seriously, I’ve just been looking at how your system has/would have fared from last Sunday onwards and have noticed that….
There were three possibles on Sunday but none fitted your odds criteria so no bets and six possibles on Monday from which My Name Is Sam (3.9% diff) would have been a selection.
Yesterday there were again six possibles with Roxane Bruere (1.8% diff) the selection.
Earlier this morning there were 22 possibles for today which at the time of writing has been reduced by non-runners to 18. Even so that’s more than enough to be checking up on!

Nathan does say in his rules that the difference should be
bigger than 5%.Copied below

March 7, 2012 at 22:51 #395252Hi guys. We’ve got at least one selection for tomorrow, I say one as it could be Two only I haven’t worked out how to calculate the percentage on odds on shots yet…..

The first is
Sabys Gem – 2.50 Southwell
opened 15/2, sp 9/2 +6.4%The other Stand Guard – 2.20 Southwell opened 4/9 and the sp was 4/11 the difference I haven’t got a bl00dy clue……

March 8, 2012 at 09:26 #395307I worked Stand Guard out at about 4.1% difference so forgot that one.

Re. the 5% – sorry, must be suffering from that attention deficit thingy.
As regards calculating the % diff for odds on…..
A
4/11 = 1.36 decimal odds
B
4/9 = 1.44 decimal odds
(100/1.36) – (100/1.44) = 4.08%
March 12, 2012 at 21:33 #396060I’m not that keen on this bet when it concerns the all weather as they tend to turn the horses out on a regular basis anyway and Im also not that sure how much money it would take for the horses to shorten in price but we’ll give it a go anyhow……

Joe Le Taxi – 1.55 Southwell
Last race opened 15/8, sp 6/4 diff +5.2%Charles Darwin to conquer the World
