I think tonight is huge for Derby even at this early stage of the season.
They haven’t suffered defeat yet in the Championship but look a side in lack of confidence and belief at the moment. Defeat against a main rival will further dent them but a win could rekindle and kick start some momentum.
What odds the draw then??Blackbeard to conquer the World
August 18, 2015 at 09:57 #1172332LVG retains faith in Rooney
My lord it’s only LVG and our irn bru bro Daz that have faith in the slow boat then.
LVG goes on to say “We have also Adnan Januzaj, Chicharito (Javier Hernandez) and (James) Wilson so I don’t think we have a lack of strikers.”
Is this the worse United strike force in history?
They’ll be begging Moyes to come back at the end of the season is my prediction.Blackbeard to conquer the World
August 18, 2015 at 12:12 #1172491DEPAY 1st scorer bet tonight he is
Happy with benteke but was it offside that is the question
August 18, 2015 at 12:29 #1172498Benteke was onside the other lad was interfering with play and I don’t think it should of been a goal.
When I played as a defender I loved the old rules for offside and the backpass lol
Too many grey areas these days regards the rule but it was brought in to encourage and give forwards more leeway.Hope you get a good pay out with Depay Daz.

August 18, 2015 at 18:33 #1172908I’ve been sucked into a “circa” Evens double tonight, Man Utd 1/3 + Coventry 8/15.
A successful £2 bet will return around £4 and being confident of success, I am going to invest my “future winnings” in another bet, a HT/FT double on the same teams;
Man Utd/Man Utd 10/11
Coventry/Coventry 11/8
works out about 7/2Good luck with your bets.

August 19, 2015 at 22:30 #1175677Austin scored again tonight, I hope someone buys him soon as I’m starting to kick myself for passing on the 25’s.
If he stays in the Championship I will end up with a custard pie in the face like one of those clowns in the circus eh Rich?Blackbeard to conquer the World
August 22, 2015 at 00:07 #1179476Ladbrokes sent me an email with a promo of stake a fiver get a fiver free bet.
Jesus that website of there’s is crap, every time you click on anything from trying to log in or make a deposit or clicking into the football the bloody thing freezes and runs a script.
Anyway having battled through I’ve my five on Austin first goal, I don’t care if the West Ham owner thinks Charlie is fit or not as long as the lad sticks that ball in the net first. Any criticism of a player in the main is a like adding fuel to fire and I expect Austin to be fired up for the game tomorrow. Rotherham seem to struggle along so I’ve put the freebie on Austin 1st goal and 3-0 scorecast. Skybet have Austin at 33’s for a hattrick which isn’t bad for the game tomorrow as with Sullivan’s attack likely to push Austin into more determination and the guy is already in good nick with two goals in two games.Austin 1st goal QPR v Rotherham 7/2 £5.00
Austin 1st goal 3-0 same game 33/1 £5.00 freebetBlackbeard to conquer the World

Yep, just like one of us
August 22, 2015 at 21:53 #1180899I put Wolves up as a possible top 6 side but now they have sold Bakary Sako I wouldn’t overly fancy them now as he was by far their best player last season.
I might have to start backing Austin for last goal scorer instead of first……Blackbeard to conquer the World
August 23, 2015 at 14:36 #1181481Oh dear John Terry.
Captain past-it is going to cost Chelsea.
No pace and needs to cheat even more to slow down the foes he’s up against.QPR saying Austin is likely to stay but the trouble if backing him for top scorer is the window will be open again in January. I’m happy to take the pie in the face if he stays after that window closes and will post a photo or recording of the event if he top scores the chart.

August 24, 2015 at 14:47 #1182046Liverpool 2-0 at 30/1 looks a half decent price.
Yes, I know Arsenal always score at home unless they play West Ham. I think the first goal will be the key one tonight and if Liverpool land it they will have something to hold onto and if Arsenal commit too many forward the likes of Countino given room can punish anyone.
I shall not be partaking however as I didn’t even get a £2.00 free bet, what the heck is Augero playing at. He would of scored had Jesus Navas played the ball back instead of trying to score from angle impossible. He’s City’s weak link but gets a game every week as he’s shagging the manager. Jesus Navas, I’ve nicknamed him ‘Jesus F***ing Christ, what was that’Blackbeard to conquer the World
August 25, 2015 at 08:42 #1182749Being dumb and bored I have had a pound on all the away teams in the Capital One cup this evening.

August 25, 2015 at 13:37 #1182932After nailing a couple of bets pre hols I’m around level for the season – I have never been up in Aug before and have a Cap Cup minefield to negotiate through and a start of a season that is more unpredictable than normal!
Initial observation is the lack of home wins across the leagues most highlighted by the prem
Prem – 6 home wins only this season. I would expect this to correct itself in time but will steer clear of most games in this division for now
Home wins is around 25% in the other leagues so the value is in draw/away win market at the moment. However with all betting patterns this can change at anytime
Off to find a nice little double in the Cap One Cup tonight
August 25, 2015 at 15:13 #1182988Welcome back Wasp, I think the home wins will soon pick up.
Swansea disappointed at the weekend with a draw at ‘no defence’ Sunderland but the odds of finishing in the top ten at 4/5 was a little eye catching, they will certainly give it a good bash and have the firepower with the two lads up top likely to cause teams havoc and Jonjo Shelvey has emerged into a decent player with confidence and a swagger about him, this is a big season for him now established he needs to step up and put his foot down and he has stood out in the games so far as being very capable of doing so. I read on another forum he is 8/1 to make the Euro 2016 Finals squad which looks a decent chance at the odds if he can have a good season and better odds than James Milner 1/6, Fabian Delph and Jack Wilshere 4/11 who will more likely to be sat in the nurse’s office for lumps of the season having his er, er, er lumps seen to.
If Hodgson can stay alive until the Euros he may just go for Jonjo a player I believe he signed for Liverpool during his short stint as boss there.Jonjo Shelvey 8/1 £2.50 To make 23 man squad for Euro 2016

Hi Nathan – I’d imagine he would be taking at least 8-9 midfielders (10 maybe if he goes with 3 strikers). I’ll take a look at this market after working my way through tonights Cap One minefield!!!!
