Stoke looks a fair bet. I think I’d want at least 22’s away at Arsenal plus they have a couple out with suspension but like you say Arsenal have yet to pull back the duvet and nearly made a pigs ear of things away at Newcastle against 10 men for large proportion of the game. The centre midfield guy Francis Coquelin looks to be extremely inconsistent one minute looking the best in that position since Vieria and the next minute playing like Tony Adams after 15 pints. Daz has been tweeting me saying that I’m mad for saying Arsenal will not win the league but for me they are lacking in all departments and do not have the strength in depth to muster any kind of title challenge.
Agreed. I think Arsenal will probably win on Sat. I think they have had their ‘shock’ home defeat for a while. It is at which point something becomes value. At the Britannia I would take 7/8’s as value in the same market .
As far as the league goes I see Man C and Chelsea 10 points better than everyone else
September 9, 2015 at 09:00 #1200822The forward for Switzerland last night looked to have good movement and it’s amazing how many players can raise their games for a new club before finding a consistent level and this Xherdan Shaqiri may just be able to catch an average Arsenal defence unawares. The 22’s Stoke BTTS certainly looks decent value for the game and Shaqiri 1st goal 18/1 with bet365 isn’t too shabby either.
I don’t fancy Liverpool much away at United with Philippe Coutinho missing though suspension. Betvictor have him at 8/1 for the young player of the year award and how he isn’t in the Brazil squad is a mystery that Scooby doo incorporated or Mulder and Scully would find a hard case to crack.Blackbeard to conquer the World
September 10, 2015 at 17:41 #1201917Sturridge is back in training for Liverpool. I would imagine he will be looked after and slowly brought back into the fold however Betvictor’s 5/1 on him being Liverpool top scorer in the league might be worth a pop with him more of a natural goalscorer than Benteke. If things go wrong like it did in the West Ham game in the coming weeks it wouldn’t surprise me if Rodgers had a change of system and played the two together. If all things were equal and everybody fit Sturridge would not be 5’s and he’s only one goal behind at present and the possibility of Liverpool drawing another blank against Untied at the weekend.

September 11, 2015 at 08:20 #1202432Benteke deserves to fav and I expect him to win the bet but
taking everything into consideration I think Sturridge is overpriced and worth a couple of pence.Liverpool Premier League Top Goalscorer – 2015/16 Daniel Sturridge 5/1 £3.00

September 11, 2015 at 19:42 #1202816Looking ahead to the weekend and I have a lot of fancies – don’t like when this happens as you never know which ones to narrow it down to.
Burton
Sheff Utd
West Brom
Charlton
Walsall (again)
Birmingham
Boro
Gillinghamamongst others on the shortlist
After much searching I have decided with a number of doubles, trebles and fourfolds on the above excluding the Baggies.

Match Result BTTS – Seagulls 24/5 Sportsbook
September 12, 2015 at 16:01 #1203818I don’t see too many goals this evening. Rooney is missing and it looks as if Marouane Fellaini will play up top. If United get frustrated or it may just be their game plan to knock long balls up and this could be the key to the game. Skrtel will be in a battle but if he comes out on top he could well get man of the match and is a fair price at 25/1 also provides a goal threat from set plays.
Martin Skrtel 25/1 man of the match £2.50

September 12, 2015 at 21:19 #1204130Looks like you got a few up Wasp, what prices did you get?
Man City got through a tough game against Palace with no Sterling or Silva then Aguero going off it was a big 3 points for them. The good news it seems that Aguero wont be out for long. I got the Liverpool game wrong, I still think United are a poor shadow of themselves but Liverpool look to have more problems and a real lack of backbone. Derby off and running gave me slight cheer but I done well to the powder dry other than the dabble on Srktel as I would of had a stinker.Blackbeard to conquer the World

Walsall (again) Evens

Well a nice tidy profit on football but all completely wiped out by one of the worst punting days of horse racing in 2 years
Fulham v Blackburn
I have backed Fulham with Laddies in the win and BTTS. I fancy Fulham here generally but 7/5 is a bit tight. the market norm for win and BTTS is 7/2 Laddies are going 9/2 in a boost so ive said thanks very much
September 13, 2015 at 08:24 #1204338Agreed. I think Arsenal will probably win on Sat. I think they have had their ‘shock’ home defeat for a while…
I hope you’re not referring to West Ham heh heh heh
The Hammers were the last team to beat Arsenal in the league at Highbury and the first team to beat them in the league at the Emirates
No shock factor for this “Happy Hammer”

Missed your treble this week!

Fulham hold on but a rather better result for me was Sole Power holding on. Before that Ribbons does the bizzo and Order of St George and a place on Wicklow restores the faith after yesterdays horse racing betting debacle.
Its a funny ol game
September 14, 2015 at 14:00 #1205845After the terrible start I don’t fancy Chelsea for the title but
they drift again to 16s and it begs the question
At what price do they become value?
September 14, 2015 at 14:12 #1205856W Ham v Newcastle
No real angle on this game tonight. The money has been for the hammers but dont really see the balance go up on my account at shades of odds against 11/10
Laddies have seen their last 2 results and BTTS price boosts go against them and go for a losing hatrick as they offer 4s in the hammers win and BTTS and thats good enough for me
September 14, 2015 at 17:08 #1205975A nearly full championship card to get stuck into tomorrow night
Brighton
Cardiff
Charlton
Boroall look of interest
Missed out on Bolton on the BTTS and win market on Sat and in typical fashion the layers have tightened that market with Bolton only 4’s at best. Birmingham even tighter at 3’s
Cardiff BTTS 11/2 look interesting but I doubt hulls ability to score regularly away from home.
so may to look elsewherreSeptember 14, 2015 at 17:09 #1205976After the terrible start I don’t fancy Chelsea for the title but

Home to Arsenal next PL fixture.
Big game if they win they will be lower and Arsenal for my money are far too short in the market, it must be Daz spending all his winnings on them.
16’s could be value if looking to lay off.Blackbeard to conquer the World
