Jones is a bit of a donkey and Fellini is a tad physical at times

6/1 Phil Jones to be carded £1.00
5/2 Fellini to be carded £1.00

Ginge booking points with Skybet is as followed

    Yellow = 10
    Red = 25
    2 Yellow & 1 Red With Dismissal = 35

So I’m needing 3 bookings minimum from both teams

    That bet is now 100/1
along with 0-0 and under 12 corners
I originally read it as 30+ match bookings but didn’t look carefully enough as it’s both teams

To be honest Nathan, I’m not sure what I thought the thread was, but
you never know, have been known to clown around a bit
    [/URL]

If it doesn’t say “racing” “golf” “football” or “competitions” in the title, I’ve become
a bit apathetic in my dotage and haven’t ventured further. For all the good it’s done me today,
I’ve fallen at the first hurdle with Japan not getting the draw
I’ll keep the Belgium/Tunisia double to try and claw my stake back.

I just missed the kick off, but took Belgium at 11/4 and Tunisia at 11/10 for the double.

I’ve chickened out, and cashed out 148 quid with 10 minutes to go. Full bet would have
234 I think but happy that some cash is safe in my pocket. I’ll watch the end without
    fretting now :good:

    Bit lucky though

Well done Ginge :good: I wasn’t watching the Tunisia game Ginger, but what probably
freaked me out was that when the cash out was as above, and I thought much more than
150 I would take. Suddenly the cash out disappeared, and the score on Bet365 changed
to 2-2 in the Tunisia game. I was thinking “oh s**t”, when it reverted to 2-1 Tunisia.
I don’t know if Panama had one ruled off, but when the cash out came back up I grabbed
    it.

Well done on the winners tonight guys
I’m back to square one but it’s all about club football for me, this is just the warm up, thought Fellini could of been booked mind you for a late foul on Vardy

BigG I find that bet365 are the worst for changing the score before reverting. The amount of times I’ve had a team go 1 up with them, go make a coffee a little half punch of the air, come back 5 minutes later and it’s 0-0

Not sure, BigG. In a stoppage to the England match I turned over and saw a replay of a Panama goal. Think I heard the commentator saying he thought it should’ve stood. Reading between the lines I think the Ref blew for a foul or something just before the shot – so no VAR. But am not quite sure what happened cause I switched back to the England game after about 10 seconds.

You got that right Ginger. From the BBC live report log…….

    73 mins
    DISALLOWED GOAL
    Panama 1-2 Tunisia

Hmm, a bit harsh this one. Panama’s Luis Tejada is judged to have pushed Oussama Haddadi as he works the ball right to Edgar Barcenas, who strikes a 25-yard fizzer into the top corner. The referee had already blown for the foul to stop play before the ball hit the net, so there’s no scope for VAR to get involved in that one.

As I said, it was enough to put the wind up me when I was getting near to the acceptable cash out
    level.

Cheers Nathan, it turned out a decent enough day, but it would have been a lot more decent if
Japan hadn’t done in my accumulator by not being able to keep things level. Anyway, I can’t grumble,
my first foray into the Circus has been a profitable one, even if I was a bit of a wuss and pulled
up the stumps at the first sign of trouble

I’ll probably have a few smaller plays at bigger odds tomorrow when seeing the sides but for now I’ll stick a fiver on France to win this last 16 game. France look to have a better overall squad and Argentina look an ill disciplined outfit both in terms of attitude and formation. They do have the players to win on any given day but France look the better bet and should progress if keeping a solid formation.

France look a great price. Argentina lucky to even be there. Think I’ll have a few shillings on that myself (sorry! ) 365 pay out if you go 2 up as well which could happen if they get off to a flyer.

In Saturday’s games, I’ve gone for a draw double with
    France v Argentina 2/1
    Uruguay v Portugal 19/10.

Bets placed with Bet365 (as I kept my cash from last night there),
I just hope there aren’t any more bogus score updates from them

Uruguay are a hard nut to crack and Portugal in the Euro’s were defensive minded against the better sides. Should be a low scoring game on paper and if they can keep Ronaldo quiet it would enhance the possibility of a defender getting the man of the match. Diego Godin seems the key brick in the unit and 20’s for the mom award looks reasonable

Uruguay have been pushed out to 2/1 with betfred so have taken a bit of that. They were slow into stride but look about as solid a defensive unit in the tournament and have a couple of decent attacks in Cavani and Suarez who can score goals. Probability suggest a 0-0 or 1-0 either way. I know Ronaldo can score at any given moment but it will be harder against the brick wall. I went for 2-0 as a correct score as 1-0 was tight enough but I think in knockout games if a team are 1-0 down they have to push men forward and there is always a chance they can concede another.
Argentina if going behind could very well lose their heads and shape, they don’t look disciplined enough to cope with falling behind against a side of the quality France possess so have gone for 3-0 plus a correct score double of France 3-0 and Uruguay 2-0 that pays £203 to a 50p stake

    2/1 Uruguay £3.00
    13/1 Uruguay 2-0 c/s £1.00
    28/1 France 3-0 c/s £1.00
    above c/s double 50p

Have just noticed France 5-0 at 325/1, again unlikely result but worth a 50p punt at the odds if Argentina are switched off if going behind

    325/1 France 5-0 c/s 50p
