Yes Folks , The Bha has appointed 6 new non exec directors …all from various walks of life …but none you would call experienced pair of hands ….so then 6 exta heads to nod through the bookies agenda ….all cushy and wonderful

Nobody from the Jockey club considered , nobody with any british racing admin experience ….nope

Is racing in Trouble ….you can bet your last dollar on that

The Bookies Rep wont be getting an easy ride from this side of the forum ….I will be watching your every move

    Imo and all the disclaimers

Odds on first thing ushered through , small field size quality jumps races axed …as favs are sure to oblige ,,,,say they are a threat to integrity or some other blithering nonsense

Replace with more 0/55 posers in newcastle or great leighs

Shun all punter representation ….just carry on stuffing those 20 pound notes into the FOBT lads …we need your dosh

Lastly …get rid of some real quality racing midweek altogether and cram into the already sardine packed spaces on Saturdays in Summer

That should keep the powers that run racing happy for a while ,,,,in my opinion at least

Get rid of all weather racing, allowing more horses to go hurdling/chasing and so improve field sizes in the winter – simples

Bittar’s getting desperate now, peddling Big Mac’s long held view that small fields lead to integrity issues. Big Mac will be in ecstasy.

Where is the evidence? Did all the recent corruption cases involve small fields? Isn’t it easier to "hide" one in a big field?

It’s laughable, even bookmakers don’t want small fields but the BHA are continuing to put them on because they are frightened at the possibility of losing levy from bookmakers. You couldn’t make it up, what a mess.

Correct Eddie , they are getting really desperate , can you imagine the future when the bookies rep gets the reins ….

I would fear for the jumping ,,,as I reckon we will have wall to wall AW racing all the year round …we have to face it , as things stand the bookies run racing , what they want , they will get

Will punters walk away ?? time will tell

    its shameful though !!!

    imo

    Thanks Cav

The last 3 heads of the bha have been useless ,,,,Roy was desperate !!, Bittar a hapless lapdog for the bookies , and still refuses to publish the full Zarooni report….to protect further aggro and embarrassment for one owner

I am not expecting this bookie guy to be any different , in fact I expect him to give the bookies even more , regardless of the game going down the pipes

I would be so delighted to eat humble pie and admitthat I’m wrong if he proves this ,,,but somehow I very much doubt it

In fairness I should wish the guy the best ….but something tells me it will be same old …same old

    iMO
