Yes Vautour Cilaos Emery is out.

I hope JP doesn’t decide to send Defi Du Seuil here instead. I’ve got a decent price on him for the JLT and he’s in some of my multiples too!
Have to say I think Hardline is still great value each way. There could be 6 runners in this so getting 3 places now on Hardline just makes sense. He beat Getabird going right handed at Limerick over 2 mile 3f and beat Us and them by 10L over 2 mile 1F; Us and them has been beaten by Le Richebourg twice, both times on a shorter margin than the 10L Hardline beat him by. Duc Des Genievres doesn’t deserve to be shorter than Hardline based on what he’s done. I can see why Lalor is the favourite because he’s got C&D form but he’s been smashed up a few times. Really like Hardline for this.
It seems for this Arkle that you won’t need to be a 160 Chaser to win it; I just wonder could the Mullins Mare, Pravalanguna, with a 7 lb allowance sneak into the frame? Think you can still get 40’s in some places..
Yeah i took some 12s e/w NRNB about Hardline. He’s the value. If he jumped half decent on his last run he’d have been much closer to the mare.
Sounds like Us and Them is heading to this race according to JOB Stable tour. 20/1 NRNB won’t last long you would expect.
Hardline beat him by 10L; if Hardline is 16/1 then 20/1 seems fair for Us and Them; you’d imagine they’ll both shorten
Personally I can’t see past Glen Forsa for this now after all the defectors.
The Sandown win was much more about him being classy than Kalashnikov disappointing in my opinion. If he jumps as straight and quick as he did that day he will take some beating.
Is Cilaos Emery even out? He’s still in the betting on the exchanges and has come from 170/1 down to 22/1?
According to Patrick last night he hasn’t been completely ruled out yet; to quote him “We’re still on tender-hooks with him”; whatever that means??
