anyone else having problems logging on to their account? So frustrating watching your selections go in.
March 12, 2011 at 14:51 #344363Think their site was/is down Stotty. Very frustrating.
March 12, 2011 at 14:53 #344364Site has been down for a few minutes.
Most of mine have been matched earlier, but it’s frustrating for those wanting the live market.

Extraordinary. I was copying some footie prices 10 minutes ago and it was slow at my end too.

I cannot open the Betfair page let alone log in since the Tsunami hit Japan. Routing problems? Similar problems with a few other sites from around the globe as well. All I get is a disconnection message.
Thankfully I managed to get https://lite.betfair.com open but it keeps telling me the market for the 3:00 at Sandown is closed. Just can’t win!

So frustrating watching your selections go in.
25 years ago, before the mobile and before internet we used to phone the bookies from a hamburger joint in the winter, an ice cream shop in the summer.
When the selection was a particularly good one, it was always the busy tone.March 12, 2011 at 15:04 #344371Absolute, farce.
I won’t bother "trading" again until tomorrow now.
They really need to sort things out quickly with Cheltenham looming.

This could be a good thing. The only trade I’ve managed to get matched all day was on the unloved Mon Parrain. Good onya Ruby!

March 12, 2011 at 18:15 #344407Total joke, this is happening nearly every weekend. I will be withdrawing my money in advance of the Festival.
March 12, 2011 at 18:55 #344413A situation not likely to be helped by their servers moving to warmer climbs.

Typical punter’s fever.
Only a few times is it for real.
One day, in one of the posh agencies downtown, I noticed a huge price drop on the board. But the queue was so long I personally had no hope to place a bet.
But someone else who was fourth in the queue missed it on the bob and the race was off. So he starts knocking the cashier and he also gave her a good kick in the butt and her trowsers turned white from dust. He then said "you just wait here, I ‘ll come back with a gun".
10 minutes later I got up and said "hey this guy looked really mean" but the agent replied to me "a minor incident my friend, we fixed it". - AuthorPosts
