One answer is the irish economy, years ago the brits wouls go and buy all the best talent (or so they thought) from ireland irish sales as stores and as novices, now irish buyers are keeping allot more at home trainers cannot gert the horses anyore without big backers with deep pockets,hence the decline of some trainers.
