Horrible to hear she had gone down in front of the stands. I had just looked away when I heard she was down and it was looking bad.

Awful Rio Tears of a clown. Did she suffer a fatal injury and come.doen or was it heart attack.

Sounds like a heart attack VF. She was taken down early and looked very worked up at the start. ITV said the 2 others who pulled up were OK but I have also seen reports of 2 more fatalities. Hopefully just social media hysteria.

Yes was heart attack. Of the other two I think it just social media spreading according to stewards reports of the other two horse pulled up one was due to having baked from the nose and the other jockey reported horse felt to go wrong

Both Mashadi and Rogue Enforcer were pulled up in the race where Tears Of a Clown sadly lost her life.
Mashadi bled from the nose and Rogue Enforcer lost his action- both thankfully ok.
Must admit I lost interest in the rest of the day after this happened and although I did also tape it to rewatch the Derby I have deleted it all. 💔
