Tanterari ran at Exeter yesterday.He is one to note when sent to a course with smaller fences and faster ground. I watched him at Haydock and it took him all his energy just to clear his fences
Instead of sending him to smaller fences, this one again jumped poorly at Cheltenham this week. Handicapper has caught up with him methinks.
I don’t think he is badly handicapped.But he is running in races which are unsuitable to show his best form.Hehas never run on ground asfast as this andin my view theywere always going to fast for him.Hisrecord over the big fencesis 0-4 Tanterari is still eligible for 0-115 ,but it will probably be the autumn before the ground is soft enough
