I did love John Peel. But I was more of a Radio Caroline girl. I still have my radio from back then. My mum, when I begged for a record player, sensibly said that I wouldn’t be able to afford records so she bought me a radio instead. I did buy the odd record. I bought See Emily Play; used to walk miles to my boyfriends house, leave him downstairs, go to his room, play it over and over again on his record player, go back downstairs and leave. The relationship didn’t last long.

WHY?
just keep asking yourself these eternal questions!
good luck to allJanuary 13, 2022 at 17:32 #1577869Ginge I don’t think I’m smart enough to get into a debate on whether space will exist if we blow ourselves up, surely the space would still be here and could eventually harbour life on a planet like ours?
Moe I love a good curry, best food around I reckon. My local place does an amazing lamb shank in a sweet masala sauce, unbelieveablely tender!

January 13, 2022 at 18:38 #1577881I like my seafood and chicken curries.

I wonder if Mr Martin has changed supplier? Curries disappeared from the menu about two months ago but since they reappeared there has been less choice and a decline in quality. There are better curries in Asda.
Still, £7.29 with a pint as well is OK.
January 13, 2022 at 19:15 #1577887M&S curries are great. Pre pandemic our political discussion meet ups with our Durham friends were always held whilst consuming a M&S curry.
January 13, 2022 at 19:18 #1577889The jalfrezi and piri piri are particularly delicious.
January 13, 2022 at 19:32 #1577894I am LOVING the direction this thread is now moving in!
