Matched at 12.5, BSP of 11.0 having been a projected 6.7 at 7.45pm.

Amazed he was placed. Can’t have done his handicap mark any huge favours. The Haggas plunge horse won.

Can’t see it will ever make any difference what his handicap mark is.

Terrible action, carries his head high and overall looks about as genuine as a Greek bank statement.

Sorry, Zarkava, for suggesting my cunning plan. Maybe the riding instructions were a bit tricky: try to win but if you can’t, come last. Always a danger of falling between two stalls.

No damage done, Kasparov. Didn’t go near him. There is a big price win coming from this fella before the end of the season. Might take another run or 2 to get his handicap mark down enough to go on a nice little winning run after finishing 3rd tonight though.

    Invent

is no longer in training with Sir Mark now in the hands of Robert Eddery.

So we can take it that the horse had no ability after all 8)

BTW the horse ran up to his mark of

    53

    I had his run at

    52

with the winner Dubawi Dancer clocking a mark of

    65

    .

I would image Sir Mark has been alerted to this thread and the trainer change is part of a cunning plan to throw people of the scent and ensures he gets a massive price about it.

Not necessarily. That Robert Eddery seems to be a pretty good trainer.

    Southwell 9.00 19/07/2011

    I cannot see

    Invent

winning this race as he is 20lb behind two horses on my handicap.

    I have

    Elusive Warrior

    on

    72

    along with

    Clever Omneya

    also on

    72

but he has gone up 10lb since achieving his mark and I have

    Invent

    on

    52

    .

    If

    Elusive Warrior

repeats his last run then this is a one horse race, and he has won 9 times over this distance at Southwell.

Good luck to Robert Eddery with his new charge

Finished last, 22 lengths behind the 11th. If that doesn’t get his handicap mark down to a winning mark, I don’t know what will.
