Metier for me – Appreciate It reminds me a little bit too much of Dunguib, so I’m going for the British horse with the best form.

I’ve also had my obligatory silly price ew Supreme bet on Grumpy Charlie, just because he fits more trends than you might think.

So don't run, just like the others always do

Anyone else (DBRDBR aside) terrified For Pleasure gets a soft lead tomorrow and they can’t reign him in?

I have noticed a lot of the bookmakers are offering enhanced prices involving the favourite here and putting him in there enhanced accumulators etc. They all seem to be tempting the punters in to get involved with this one.

I think Soaring Glory will win here. Alarm bells ringing over the favourite for me though that said I certainly wouldn’t be surprised if he did win.

Of course they like a go and to take on a fav but most seem to want to take this one on as opposed to giving the offers on Shiskin. Doesn’t necessarily mean much of course and I certainly wouldn’t rule him out but I don’t see him as being the rock solid banker that many think he is.

I see there’s a couple of mentions for For Pleasure here and I don’t
think it’s the daftest E/W at 50s. He’s going to set off like a scalded
cat, it’s the only way he knows how to run and I’m not sure Appreciate
It, who otherwise might have led, will try and stay with him. There was
a quote on here some time back from someone who was heavily into times
and sectionals, and whilst I’m not bound by them it stuck with me. I maybe
can’t remember it verbatim, but the essence of the thing was that good
horses can run a bad time, but bad horses can’t run a good time. With that
in mind, I watched For Pleasure’s run at Stratford last September, he ran it
nearly 9 seconds faster than average, and didn’t come off the bridle. He maybe
needed the run after 3 months off in the Betfair Hurdle last time out and was
carrying a lot of weight when he tired when leading 2 out. If they don’t give
him respect, and let him get away as he’s only the 50/1 rag, I think they could
    get caught out.

    For Pleasure 50/1 E/W

Nice one BigG I’ll have a pound or two e/w on for pleasure too after that write up! And it was our beloved Ginger that said that quote re good horses running good times, remember him saying it on here a few years back.
