It all depends on the going if I bet Benbatl so any bet will be on the day. He is 9/2 with WH, WH make Khaloosy fav 4/1, Billesdon Brook 5/1.

Id say he is much more likely to run this week

The forecast is pretty clear bar Wednesday

If this was at any other track I’d be risking the non runner and backing him now, but Haydock is Haydock

Going now good to soft and soft in places but with light rain for wed and thurs will it be still too soft for benbatl come saturday, skybet has come in with 5/1 best price but I still think it is too risky for an anti post bet. Now sky have cut him to 7/2 with best price 4/1 now.

I’ll be shocked if Benbatl runs on Saturday, he’ll wait for the Newmarket Group 2 he won last year

Well frenchy I am in no hurry to back him, but do think where he runs if the going is right he will win. I think the going will be too soft for him to run. He needs minimum good going.

Kinross is a very interesting runner here, so impressive on debut on an easy surface he’s not raced on it since until Saturday. Thought so good, he ran in the Vertem Trophy second time out and went off Fav, then raced in the Guineas. Big step down in grade here, gets his ground, nice looking price.

Could be anything, which means he could be rubbish, but there’s not much between this lot, so better to have a dart at some longer odds. 8 runners as well so can each way

    Kinross 11/1 EW

Kinross for me ew. Double figure odds, down 2 grades, back on a softer surface. May outrun his price in calmer waters.

The only thing that slightly put me off after I backed him is that I saw he wasn’t entered in the QEII. You’d think if he tanked up here that would be a good end of season target for him which might suggest connections are not expecting a big run.

Still You’d think they’d be majorly disappointed if he couldn’t place in this company, so worth an EW bet to find out.

I went with Kinross here too, more for the price than anything else, as he looks to have as much chance as the more fancied runners.

The dreaded non runner, so cashed out on Kinross 2 places and on for ew 4 places.

Top Rank went un-noticed by me, and when he won I remembered I backed him last time out when he was third. Good winner and My Oberon run another good race and he beat Khaloosy again on two different goings, bound to win a race a soon.

My Oberon would’ve carried this lot on fast ground.
