Sprawled very badly on landing over the last fence before the winning post on the first circuit of the 2.15pm race at Southwell and either broke or dislocated his left hind leg it looked like. RIP, Sunglasses.
Just disgraceful to have the horse hidden behind the screens in its dying seconds while the rest just keeps on running on unsuitable ground.
Don’t call it sport or don’t tell me that these animals are loved or that people really care for them. If this would be the case then there would be no NH during the extremely dry summer period.
Why not race them over concrete?
