Please explain to me why after the BHA re-measured Stratford racecourse, every one of the races run yesterday, were not run to the advertised distances.

    2:10 – 2m2f148y(H) was 2m2f202yds
    2:45 – 2m70y(H) was 2m112yds
    3:20 – 2m6f125y(C) was 2m6f185yds
    3:55 – 2m70y(H) was 2m112yds
    4:35 – 2m4f205y(C) was 2m2f177yds
    5:10 – 2m70y(NHF) was 2m112yds

It was the 4:35 that really got to me, short by 2.13f, please tell me the Racing Post reported this this wrong.

    RP course notes:
Actual race distance 2m2f177yds. A modest novice handicap.

I will have to wait until the Racing Post replies to my email, I just cannot accept that a race was run 2.13f shorter than advertised…

    Mike.
