Paisley park is different class to if the cap fits. Call me lord will come on for the run. Wasn’t running at 160.

I only day paisley park is different class because he reminds me of big bucks. I know some people will think this is too far but I truly believe he is the next big bucks and expect him to dominate this division for a long time

This race is going to cut up quite badly. IF the Cap fits is still value at 9/1

Have backed him at 12s EW and have gone in again at 9s EW.

He a tough horse who is still relatively unexposed over this trip. He finds plenty for pressure and i really like the trainer and jockey.

The other EW play is Bacardys at 20/1 buy i have not backed him yet.

Paisley Park is the one to beat though

Delighted with that for a seasonal reappearance for Paisley Park.
Thistlecrack ran a blinder and would have place claims in this if staying hurdling

Yeah very good first run giving 6 pounds to thistelcrack. Trainer already made it clear he won’t be at his best for this race so it was good to see him win and looked on top nicely at the line. If he does come on for the run then he’s going to be very hard to beat again all season

    Tickets arrived today…
I see Thistlecrack may miss the King George and take another shot at Paisley Park. As good as Thistlecrack is the young legs of Paisley Park should see him off fairly straight forward particaly now he has had a run under his belt to blow away the cobwebs

Im of the opinion that we all fancy ourselves as a little knowledgeable about this game, As in, You know what a good horse is and you know if ones got chances when you see them.
But at the same time we know F**kall until they finish the race! So to say you cant look past the favourite is a little short sighted. Yes he’s solid and i wont appose him but he might fall at the first hurdle and it turns into a mad race! So back what you fancy and well find out.
    we know f**kall.

Going by this Ray, i wonder why you bet in the first place. You fancy any horse running over hurdles and fences and they might fall.

What im getting at is we can convince ourselves 100% we got the winner but ultimately nobody knows! unless the race is fixed and you got inside knowledge. so someone could convince themselves they have the winner in a 100/1 nag

most probably its a s**t bet but whos to say it cant happen whether you got the favourite or a longshot it doesnt matter what anyone else thinks about your choice

i bet because i enjoy losing money :yahoo:

Ok Ray! I think this is what a bet is? Taking a chance on an outcome?

Every week I just keep backing

    Paisley Park (Win only)

    If the Cap Fits (EW)

I think this race is one of the least competitive of the festival. If they get there on the day i can only see one of these to winning.

The big clash is on. :bye:

Fry is looking forward to pitching his up-and-coming staying star If The Cap Fits against Paisley Park in the Cleeve Hurdle at Cheltenham later this month.

If The Cap Fits, winner of the Grade 1 Ryanair Stayers Hurdle at Aintree last March, produced an even better performance on figures on his seasonal reappearance in November when beating Call Me Lord by half a length in an Ascot Grade 2.

The eight-year-old missed a subsequent engagement before Christmas on the grounds of Fry not being 100 per cent happy with him, but he is firmly on course for a showdown with last year’s Stayers’ Hurdle hero.

“If The Cap Fits is on target for the Cleeve Hurdle at the end of the month,” Fry said. “It will be his first run at Cheltenham and should give him invaluable experience in a potential clash with Paisley Park.

“They have not faced each other yet, but the clash is going to happen sooner or later. If The Cap Fits is within 3lb of Paisley Park on official ratings and it promises to be a fascinating clash.”

The red-hot trainer has sent out ten winners from his last 25 runners, a resurgence which he hopes will continue well into the spring.
