Ami Debois 5/2 for tomorrow must be a palp. More like even money.
I thought Pravalaguna would open up around 7s and be a back (damn you irishracing.com for getting my hopes up!) but 5/2 so no.
I think I’ll back Pretend on the AW but I’ve not looked properly yet.
Chelsea to beat us at 1.99 is far too big. We have no established central midfielders and the likelihood that Wenger plays his best team is about 150/1 (Sanchez, Perez, Welbeck, Walcott).
Everton look a nap at 1.73 so we’ll double them up too.
I’m going to throw 3 small singles at Hull, Leicester and Middlesborough at big prices. I think their opponents all have weaknesses and two of them are playing away from home. Let’s also do the unthinkable and do a 25p treble.

No bet on Pretend.
Ami Desbois into 2/1 already.

Just call me the oracle.
Considered throwing WBA into a treble but was put off by this Berahino rubbish.

Hull lead at half-time.
Southampton losing at home to West Ham, great for my bottom half bet!
Leicester currently 2pts off bottom in the live league table!
February 4, 2017 at 16:29 #1285765Don’t worry, boys and girls, we’ve laid Everton at 1.03 so a very nice profit is already insured

And now all green at 1.02
The treble’s warming up…
A very good day
February 5, 2017 at 04:48 #1285838The treble’s gone, but oh well, only got beat 1-0. Still got Leicester to come.
Just looking at the 3.50 at Taunton…a bunch of these look very exposed and vulnerable. Willows Saviour is a massive price at 14s+. Definitely more than a 7% chance he can replicate his form from 4 years ago since it’s only been 6 or 7 odd runs.
But the one I really like is Oscarteea. Just think this is a good horse and he’ll fare much better over further. Ran a pretty good race in defeat over 2m off a break and just looked like he was run out of it at the finish. An extra 3f here will work a treat. Ground will be fine. Also can’t help but notice he’s a half-bro to Identity Thief, which is what first put me onto him. Mulholland’s horses are flying too. 13/2 just way too big. Surely the only dangers are Willows Saviour + the fav Verni, who looks very short at 7/4.
The 9, 10 and 10 year old Here’s Herbie, Spice Fair and Winning Mark look exposed, vulnerable and need career bests to win this. Roadie Joe and Barizan don’t have conditions to suit.
Remiluc’s winning has come at Fontwell. Just ran the other day and could be tired. If he couldn’t win off this mark at his favourite track, I don’t think he’ll do it here.
Verni is just a stupid price at 7/4 and thankfully it takes a big chunk out of the market to give us more value.
Dell’ Arca is a perenial loser and also looks exposed and vulnerable off his mark.
February 5, 2017 at 12:32 #1285889Oscarteea must be dead because he’s drifted from 10.0 to 20.0. Willow Saviour is into 11.0 from 16.0
February 5, 2017 at 16:04 #1285979Verni was extremely well handicapped it figured, 7/4 was very good value!
February 5, 2017 at 16:24 #1285985Oscarteea is just a bad horse. Clearly the bloodline has worked well with Identity Thief’s sire because Oscarteea has none of his ability based on that effort.
El Bandit just won though! Lovely stuff :)

Hit and miss. Willow’s Saviour finished 2nd while Oscarteea ran a shocker. Thankfully he’s not cost me a lot as I’ve only backed him twice. We can move on from him having learnt something valuable.
The short-priced Verni won. Called the others all correctly.
The lesson I’ve learnt today is that staking is vital. It can make or break your days.
February 7, 2017 at 15:31 #1286298On today’s evidence, Bally Gilbert really needs to go over 3m. I think a handicap over 3m could be the last time I back him. He’s been disappointing.
He’s the only thing I’ve backed today.
February 9, 2017 at 14:12 #1286557I think Messire Des Obeaux is a good horse, but a bit of a slow one. At this track, over this trip, with these terms, against this opposition, at that price – I have to lay him.
February 9, 2017 at 14:33 #1286559I think my last sub 3.0 lays have all finished 2nd lol
Couple I’ve got my eye on in the 2.50
Protek des Flos – represents Consul De Thaix form. Need to see some more meat on the bone.
Who Dares Wins – finished 17th in the Brain Power Ascot handicap
Min back PdF, slightly bigger back WDW
February 9, 2017 at 15:39 #1286563Have to place lay Emotionless here at the price
February 9, 2017 at 15:45 #1286564Nope! 2nd
February 9, 2017 at 16:01 #1286567Laid Charlemar at 2.92. I think his form is rubbish and he has to give 10lbs away to the rest of them.
