At Doncaster on Bank Holiday Monday, a full brother to Observatory was having his second run of the season. Well beat on his debut, after showing lots of speed, he was given an outing at Doncaster, in which he looked like he was learning all the time. He finished 2nd, not being knocked about by Frankie Dettori. Will be a likely odds on shot next time out, but could well develop into a Listed Class horse, even though he isn’t going to be as good as Observatory.
2nd at Beverley today from stall three beaten 3/4’s of a length. A flat track, decent ground, and 7f/1m seem to suit, and will surely break his maiden next time out if he gets a kind draw.
