I have been looking at the entries and weights and if I could guarantee that he runs I think the 9/4 about Sprinter Sacre is the bet of the season.
I am not saying he will win but even if he gets beat the 9/4 is still tremendous value.
If he is near to his form in his last run of last season then I think he will win hands down never mind anywhere near his best of 2013 in which case he could win by the length of the run in getting the weight he does.
I just can’t find anywhere that confirms he is a starter otherwise I would be on.
If anyone knows or read anywhere about hos definite participation then please post it.

It would be fantastic if he could come back Droffats, maybe not to the brilliance of 2013, but at least close to that. Don’t pay too much attention to the 2 mile chasers, but he was a monster, easily the best I’ve seen.

As for Sunday, no idea whether he goes or not, but I’m quite keen on Savello at 25’s each way with the three places. Only a couple of lengths behind the market leader for this, Simply Ned, in The Champion Chase, after nearly coming down at the second or third, and at a course he likes I’ve taken a chance on him.

Could not knock that VTC, I think Simply Ned is over rated and never porduces when he ventures South. As I have said on a previous post, I believe the North to be around 10lb behind the South. Simply Ned may prove me wrong Sunday but I somehow doubt it and may save on yours

Simply Ned is a hound, albeit a very talented one.

Everything seems to be falling into place for a feel-good Sprinter Sacre win. Dodging Bullets is injured, Vibrato Valtat ran in the Haldon Gold Cup, Special Tiara ran in Ireland…

If poor old Savello is coming into the equation, you know the opposition are thin on the ground. Presumably Next Sensation (possibly an e/w bet himself?) will beat Mr Mole to the early lead as well.

This could be Sprinter Sacre’s ‘Well Chief’ moment.

Sprinter runs nicky has already confirmed.

I’ve got the confidence back hes going to do it.

On early at 9/4 with pp and rebacked 11/4 with Betfair.

    Come on Sprinter!!

IF he wins the Shloer chase, it would be the 1st real step towards recovery. In fact he should win the Shloer, because if his trainer is right, Sprinter Sacre must be well ahead of Bob’s Worth and Simonsig.
Why am I thinking that? Because instead being entered in a Micky Mouse hurdle race, he already runs in a proper G2 chase 1st time out. Now, if Bob’s Worth, who won just a training session 1st time out over hurdles, is suddenly a Hennessy horse and the runner up is a Tingle Creek horse, then Sprinter Sacre must be a machine and ready to do himself justice. Otherwise he would have replaced Simonsig in that hurdle race.
I have to think that Mr. Henderson gets it right and therefore Sprinter Sacre would be the logical bet at around 5/2. Though if he should win, he would still have to improve in order to get back to that “old” SS.

He might not ever get back to his best but if in his form from last season i.e his last race he should win easily on Sunday and now it is confirmed he will run I am on myself
