It’s great to have such wonderful memories of a great horse in your life. For me it was Dessie and the years when I used to met him at Ab Kettleby as part of his fan club. My signed drawing of Des is just behind me [need Simon Sherwoods signature to complete it though]

I’m a huge fan of Sam Twiston-Davis though, so I was thrilled wuth the result! I thought I’d miss the race, because I’m in London but we just happened to be in the hotel room as the race was run! Brilliant
