    This morning I wrote,
    “Exeter 5pm
At first glance, WAIT FOR THE LORD looks interesting, Brony Frost on board. A second to the progressive Socialist Agenda reads well here.
Any News fell when going well, Sam TD on board at 9/1 e/w”

ANY NEWS serves it up to the short priced favourite and wins easily clear by SEVEN lengths Waitforthelord comes in third.
    :mail: :mail:
Great end to the day even though LLMIG runs second at a huge 14/1 to the front running Arcadian sunrise by four lengths. The unraced LLMIG was highlighted as a likely sort on breeding by this thread earlier today.

    Chelmsford 8.30
    Manucci
Interesting to see this successful hurdler coming back off a break to tackle this trip.
Sufficient experience on the flat to handle this trip.
Opposition include a Godolphin runner not certain to step to this distance, and a multiple 11/12 f winner attempting to extend the run by stepping up in trip.
worth interest with William Buick taking the ride. W/P

William Buick won as he pleased here, giving Manucci a very authoritative and confident ride.
Manucci could have jumped a few hurdles and still won this!!
In front from 8f out, pace was controlled and none of the other horses and jockeys ever looked comfortable. Her Indoors rallied in the home straight but Buick was already striding home and saw out the short trip comfortably. Opened 14/1 returned 11/1. Went nicely with Any News won the Bumper at Exeter. Advised 9/1 SP 5/1
While IIMIG 2nd massive 14/1 Maiden flat race Thurles and PATS FANCY 2nd 4/1in the Fos las Bumper were advised as win bets

Jimmy jimmy, Sundrenched and funky Dady were all behind fifth placed FLANKING MANEUVER, in a race won by Eric Bloodaxe in December
All have subsequently won this season. Runner up Ferny Hollow then embarked on a stunning run en route to the Cotswolds to win the Champion Bumper.
Favori De Champdou in fourth in that race won two runs later.
The form lines are rock solid and if the selection strips fit on his reappearance he is fully entitled to win the race tonight at Downpatrick 5.10.
Ragnar Blodrok was third and won this week.
He faces two Gordon Elliott runners who will be warm orders to many backers.

1.45 Downpatrick maiden Hurdle euro 13k
Perhaps Noel Meade can initiate a double in the opening race. The odds on favourite TULLYBEG unseated at the first in a race won by Visionairian at Gowran park seven days ago.
Horses and Jockeys who tip up at the last are deemed to have had a run and I often back them as they have gone the distance and shown up well. Such as yesterday when Any News bolted up after a fall. A week is very little time to get a fall out of the system FACE THE ODDS
can cash in here. TULLYBEG .will be odds on again and penalised too. Face the Odds has good point to point form with a win and second in the book. On the hurdle course an 18 length 2nd to the excellent Fury road last autumn reads really well in this company bearing in mind what Fury road went on to do.
( Fury Road was just a nose and a neck third to Monkfish in the Albert Bartlett) If he could find half of those 18 lengths he’d be thereabouts.
Face the odds does need to step up a notch but Meade’s last win in this race in 2018 saw his charge step forward and dominate by 23 lengths and a front running display would be the order of the day. If Denis O’Regan can dictate the pace and put the principles under pressure, then Face The Odds can prevail.

    Newmarket 1245
Oisin Murphys horse has been heavily backed and looks a warm order Watching brief.
IN THE GENES (Tom Marquand) was last of 12 last time but an each way chance is taken on some improvement from that first run. Small stakes at huges odds
    Goldolphin race.
    No improvement from Tom’s mount.

    Chepstow 5.55
    Bermeo
    Massinis dream
Plenty have claims in this race but these two my win only picks.

Bermeo from those cheeky chappies who sent out one yesterday that had only beaten three or four horses before bolting up at Exeter.
    Massinis dream 3rd @ 12/1

    MASHED POTATO
    0589-PP 3rd @ 28/1
    Flanking Manouver wins @ 6/5
Authoritative performance and well worth a look at the replay.
Ive lost count but I’m thinking that is winner number 14 with two very good ones yesterday if you count each ways as winners then Mashed Potato gets the number up in the high twenties.
    Highlights of today at Downpatrick.
An interesting performance in the first race where the selection made up 12 lengths on his last run which left him six lengths short in the end but will be better for the run and will be winning grade ones with his form lines as will the winner. FACE THE ODDS & TULLEYBEG winner.
