I got the first three and annoyingly put them in the wrong order!
But the rationale was right and I got the winner. Surely though with an 8 lb allowance was the application of Lassix needed? The horses already full of Lassix visibly hit a wall when the lactic acid kicked in. They were at the end of their range. Santa Barbara and Lemista will have lost a huge amount of fluid and weight pre race and coupled with ability had a telling advantage over the others. A winner anyway but at what long term cost?.

Good to see Dundalk running there is always an angle there…
But went close in the concluding races with
Lezerindeaux win bet @ 7/1 went very near.
I often do well in the bumpers and today was no exception with another big price runner up and the winner. (Again)

Gave the Mullins horse more to do than expected in the bumper.

Harry’s Bar was pointed out as one of two horses way clear of the field and he duly finished 2nd clear of the field at 11/1. Sadly the other horse Highway Rat didn’t turn up and as they were put in a forecast the money stayed behind.
Mokhilles was placed in a forecast and proceeded to Bolt up gambled on late at the post and was the only horse in the forecast not advised as a back.
The Irish gambles are more transparent than those in England and the punter can chose to follow or ignore. As much of my selections are near to the off, the gambles will play a bigger in my Irish racing.Lingfield 1pm
