Glencroft won 9 races from 24 starts in 1988, the same year that Chaplins Club also won 9 times. Timeform comment that whereas Chaplins Club won his races in a short period of times, Glencroft spread his wins over six months.
Glencroft started the year rated 48 and ended it with a mark of 112!
His regular jockey Dandy Nicholls adopted the same tactics with some of his horses and one named Sihafi won three times in the space of four days at Bath, Folkestone and Lingfield on the 6th, 8th and 9th of July, 1998.
