Lysander and Natural World 🌎 are the big players here and they are highly respected. Their prices and the idiosyncrasies of Goodwood leave them free to the world and his dog to enjoy 🐕.
Draw data is very misleading as the race rarely has more than seven runners.
There is just one course winner in the field and ability to handle this track goes a long way.

Finished five lengths behind Nahinni and even further behind corebus on the two other runs.
The form of those placed in front in both races is very telling in that the races have produced multiple winners.
On the draw issue an eleven year trawl puts stall 4 as the place to be as does a five year trace, but of course small fields dictate a low draw sample is inevitable and yet stall 7 produced the winner two years ago to prove it’s not a reliable indicator.
This would be a major breakthrough for jockey Marco Ghiani to land a race of this stature.This is an out there bet and of the two I’d say INVERNESS has the best chance of splitting the leading pair. I’d love the rains to come and cut the race up even more….
The lifeline here is the extra place being offered by some books and with just seven runners a course winner has a fighting chance of being in the top half of the field.
Cut that to six and if the books are good to their word you’d potentially be in a good position.I’ve passed up on the win selection earlier as the field has changed significantly.
