    PORTICELLO
    Win
    1.30
    Haydock
Clear form choice and has little to fear from these rivals.
Should be a good day for the trainer.

    WEST TO THE BRIDGE
    Win
    Carlisle
    4.35
Looks pretty well treated here given he won here in Nov 2020 off 133.
Raised 10 pounds for last win and still 3 below that mark.
Closely matched with tees components lad and was clear of that rival when they met

    West to the Bridge.

A good winner, pushed out a little more to get home when pressed for the lead. Looks like there is plenty more to come.

If Market Rasen 1410 goes ahead ok on Tuesday then there is the prospect of the reappearance of
    ILE DE JERSEY
Nicky Henderson’s filly who won her juvenile hurdle recently.
She carries a penalty as she enters novice company, but as a juvenile hurdler carries less still than the rest of the field. Nico de Boinvlle rides and although the stable are not flying, this seems the right time for the stable to get into gear with some big races coming up.

    Hurdle heaven today!!
    1pm
    Juvenile hurdle
    Olly Murphy’s
    FLEURMAN
looks as though he is good enough to push on from debut and win here at the second attempt.
Running on third behind two decent rivals last time looked to be learning his job well.
    FLEURMAN
    Win

    ILLE DE JERSEY
    See previous post
    1410
    Win

    PETIT TONNERRE
    2.45
    Win
Holds an entry in the triumph hurdle.
Facing two rivals here who are rated several pounds below.
Very strongly fancied here having got into this race which has a ceiling of 132 Petit Tonnerre’s rating.
English debut for JP McManus and Jonjo O’Neil after three runs and two good hurdles win in France. Looked pretty strong in those affairs having viewed the videos. If unable to win this in good fashion, safe to say He won’t be running at Chelmsford next month, let alone Cheltenham. So I’m hoping he does not mess up my treble here….

    Win singles doubles and treble.

Very wrong to put up a short priced horse from an out of form yard.
But PETIT TONNERRE puts the smile back in place and lands a hefty win single.
Laying to rest a betting ghost for me.
The money I put down on a horse I thought could not lose many years ago has tempered my wagers ever since.
I’d have preferred it to have been one of the 16/1 winners from the last two weeks rather than a 4/5 shot and those have certainly been more convincing winners than today’s even though Jonjo did it smartly.
I had £100 on Jair Du Chochet on the phone at somewhere like wincanton and of course also had the ‘beeswax’ on too. It never looked like winning and I watched on helpless. Never had anything like that on since.
Went in well under a cautious ride there by Jonjo junior.

    Punchestown 1pm
    Triumph hurdle winner
    BURNING VICTORY
Has a gilt edged opportunity to regain winning a thread.
went to France to win a flat race last year for Her ingenious trainer.
She is taken to secure a banker trifecta over
Queen’s Brook and Stablemate Dysart Diamond

    Burning victory
    Banker trifecta
    Dysart Diamond/Queen’s Brook

    Added
    Add a small saver trifecta
    1st QUEENS BROOK
    2nd BURNING VICTORY
    3rd DYSART DIAMOND
Gordon Elliott has been Willie Mullins nemesis many times and his first race record is exceptional. This is a race however that Mullins has had his name on five times recently.
    ——————————————–
Even though it was a small success in monetary terms, a trifecta was landed when Burning victory led home the one, two, three.

    COASE
    Win
    Eyecatcher last time behind enfranchise.
finished like a train and had he got going sooner would have been a shock winner behind jockey who eased up at the wrong winning post.

    TREVELYN’S CORN
    WIN
    1630
Micky Hammond has placed this one in a class five handicap on third outing for his yard .
This ex Paul Nicholls runner comes straight out of class 1 contests rated 133 and this massive drop in class could be right up the horses street.
The other factor here is the trip and TREVELYN’S CORN has not been over it since winning a maiden hurdle by 7 lengths.
Won point to point by same margin and will likely relish this trip. Add the jockeys substantial weight allowance and the horse is well in here.

    Kempton
    7pm
    Blue Trail
Harrow holds an entry in the Irish 2000 guineas. He is yet to go over a mile and has yet to see an all weather track, so he is taken on with Charlie Appleby’s runner.
As Kameko and several others have shown Newcastle is the track and not Kempton when taking the classic route….
The stable won this race last year so preparing Blue Trail for this is no afterthought and the yard are going great guns having campaigned in the middle east.
Given that he was impressive in winning by 4.75 lengths,at Southwell he should be hard to beat.
Harrow has not run since September.
Despite that he is on very good terms here so with that in mind, the bet is for Blue Trail to win without Harrow.
Evens is a fair price considering he could well go off at about 7/4 to win outright.
Blue Trail to win without Harrow @ 1/1
The price could expand but I think it will go to odds on.
    MAXIMUM WIN BET(without Harrow)

    While waiting for tonight’s race
    Lingfield 3.55
    DELEGATE THE LADY
Very lightly raced since winning in may last year.
Runs under the last winning mark for the first time.
Headgear also applied as she steps up to seven furlongs. Has the assistance of stall 1 as well and can be expected to run well.

    INTERVENTION
    WIN
Runs again just 18 hours after last night’s win. The stable think they can squeeze one more win out and land a four timer.
Going by the win over Magic Gem at Southwell recently where intervention can from a long way back, they may well be right.
Magic Gem who was a long way clear that night, duly won two nights ago and intervention won well again last night.
    Souyunique
Is taken to follow the selection home
    Each way

The likely main selection later will be Million Reasons who is also looking to run up a decent sequence of wins.

    MILLION REASONS
    Win
    715
    Impressive so far.
A real sleeper and looks to have lots in hand.
Ran well behind Rohaan last year and looks to be on a similar trajectory. Likely to be back on the turf before long. Jockey dropped reins two runs back and has yet to be fully let down.
    Keep backing till loses.

What a time in life to make your handicap debut.
The Nicky Henderson runner is rated 153 from 172. If fit has a great chance.
    Buveur D’air

    Autumn Evening
    Win
Irish raider upped a whopping 9lbs for punchestown win so they’ve come to England to try and exploit the mark.
The younger horses though have a huge advantage as all but four hurdles omitted.

    DONKEY YEARS

    HIDDEN HEROICS
    Win
    Newcastle 1pm
Winning pointer who had stringtomybow four lengths back in third.
stringtomybow ran 120 rated shearer to a neck last week in a handicap.
Decent enough form behind Dr Green in a class 3 and pul again green. 14 lengths off the winner. Those two reopposed next time behind Hillcrest off 127 in a class 1 finishing fourth and fifth so potentially the form is progressive if taken literally.
Given that highly rated hasty brook is now a non runner Hidden Heroics gets the free energy from that runner being one less weight carrier to run off.
The only rated horse in the field running off 112.
Has had wind surgery since last run and likely to make a bold bid here.
Gets a seven pound pull with the top weight here.
Yard sure to have this one ready with Cheltenham looming. Good bumper winner yesterday.

    FANCY STUFF
    Win
With the bumper win in mind yesterday, fancy stuff can continue yard’s decent run in the sphere with a weight carrying performance here.
Winning pointer who won bumper on debut and can kick on again here.

Place double on the two selections….

    KABOO
    Win
And 5)1 to win by two lengths
Makes handicap debut after winning on three aw tracks.
Couldn’t have been more impressive and makes a bold bid now to extend the sequence of different tracks to four in a row now.
Has win by good margins and the 5)1 about winning by two lengths is worth going for.
