GWDS, that doesn’t count, given the title of this thread. There’s no ‘maybe’ about it – that’s just plain wrong!!! :D

I have far too many to mention them all, but I’ll kick off with two which show me up to be the ridiculous slush-meister I (occasionally) am…

    Bright Eyes – Art Garfunkel
    Forever Autumn – Justin Heywood

Sing the alternative version of Flying Without Wings to her Gaz – "some find it in the face of their pet dog, places you never thought it could be" only line i know.

    Boney M – Rasputin
Nakatomi – Children of the Night
Chesney Hawkes – The One And Only

Actually there’s way too many to even start listing but anything really really really cheesy.

Girls aloud – Something kinda oooooh.

Although liking Girls Aloud songs, is more likely a result of my lusting for Cheryl Tweedy.

Does Mona Lisa by Nat King Cole count?

I suppose it does as I am predominently a prog rock fan. :)

There’s only one member of Girls Aloud worth looking at – you won’t understand unless you’ve met a girl from Runcorn

Notwithstanding all the other atonal, leftfield rubbish I’ve posted in the assorted music threads on TRF over the years, Mrs Column and I do still have a fatal weakness for some of the better-executed chart-oriented pop. To that end we’ve both found ourselves humming "Transylvania" by McFly rather more than maybe we ought to…

Nat King Cole, the best singing voice of the 20th century, pure velvet. Possibly not my usual kind of music, but anything by Nat King Cole is a ‘must listen’

Pure velvet is a very good description. Cole often described himself as just a piano player who could sing a little. Modest to a fault.
