    Now I wouldn’t be Al Aasy’s biggest fan and, when he opened up 4/6 ante-post in the week, I thought: “That’s shocking, it’s a race it’s perfectly capable of winning, but it’s hardly the most reliable.”

    Just before the Off and I see 4.6 at Betfair Exchange and think: “That’s equally ridiculous. I’m counting four legs as it goes into the stalls, a token bet has to be placed.”

    Funny old game, but refreshingly straighter than the market sometimes seems to imagine at Listed level and above.
