I reckon Copper Kay could justify her narrow favouritism in the 3.00 at Newbury tomorrow. Although she used the racecourse photographer as an excuse to shy then idle horribly in the lead at Warwick at the end of December, I was impressed by how she was galvanised by the winner going past her and how quickly she rallied and nearly got back up to win. That was over 2.5 miles so I think tomorrow’s trip will suit and I’ve put a bit on at 9-1.
March 25, 2017 at 12:46 #1294075Welcome to Daily Lays and Plays, Green, and I hope you put up some nice winners. Good luck
March 25, 2017 at 15:44 #1294128Thanks VTC, no beginners luck for me today though! The winner looks a very nice mare.

I did Theatre Territory each-way at 16/1 and she was backed into half those odds. She seemed to get a bit upset before the race and the jockey had to get off sharpish. She travelled well in the race but didn’t seem to get home, weakening into sixth.
Copper Kay ran a great race but the big grey filly was different class today. I didn’t look at Snow Leopardess as the stable were 0/20 the last couple of weeks. Nice effort from Copper Kay, a good step forward from winning at 1/10 last time and she will get her head in front again no doubt.
Thanks for the good crack. Time for me to move on. Be lucky.
April 16, 2017 at 00:57 #1296970I have two bets for Fairyhouse tomorrow.
1.45 Mullaghboy 66-1 E/W
Has no chance on the face of it, beaten a long way LTO when last of 3. But the ground was rubbish so he probably wasn’t given a hard time when beaten. Tongue tie on now, and a jockey on board whose recent mounts have outrun their odds. Worth a small E/W.4.35 Clontarf 12-1 win
Won LTO over course and about this distance. Scope to come on further.April 16, 2017 at 01:07 #1296971Good luck Green with Mullagh, after Ultragold, a 66-1 shot should be a piece of p*ss for you lol
April 16, 2017 at 10:33 #1296995Thanks VtC and good luck with your bets today. Looking forward to watching some good racing.
April 16, 2017 at 20:38 #1297054Ah well a longshot is a longshot for a reason

Clontarf didn’t jump particularly well and just outclassed today I think. Back to the drawing board.
Well done to anyone who had winners today.
April 22, 2017 at 07:19 #1297747…
Ive been backing and watching JONNY DELTA this season. All my analysis printout, including Pro-Punter DGA have flagged him up as a horse that should have run a lot better than he has shown so far.My conclusion is that he has been saved for this race (22apr17) at AYR today. He’s only running in a conditional contest with not so many runners, and his handicap mark is dangerously low.
At 16/1 EW JONNY DELTA 5-05ayr (will do for me!)

In addition to my Scottish National picks, on the Ayr card I’ve backed
15.20 Vaniteux 13-2 win
as ground, track and trip should suit.April 22, 2017 at 15:56 #1297891Thanks Greenasgrass

April 28, 2017 at 10:40 #1298604I’ve backed Present Man 16-1 E/W for the Oaksey Chase tomorrow in the hope he gets declared for this not either of his other entries.
April 28, 2017 at 12:14 #1298628Arse, he goes in the Whitbread. Oh well.
June 17, 2017 at 23:03 #1304721Just having a look at the card for Downpatrick tomorrow. June Carter’s form is nothing to write home about and Mr Mulliner hasn’t raced since a distant last of the finishers in a beginner’s chase last season.
But the trainer is running riot with 3 wins and a 3rd out of 4 runners at the track today, and Derek Fox is booked to ride tomorrow- as far as I can see these are his only rides at the meeting.
Downpatrick
2.35 June Carter 66-1 E/W
4.05 Mr Mulliner 16-1 E/W
E/W double 1138-1
Above with b365, Mr M available elsewhere at 20-1.August 12, 2017 at 10:36 #1313622I like Frankuus and think he must have more races in him. Trip and ground should be OK and he gets a nice bit of weight from the older ones. The ease in the ground should also suit LL and on the off chance he gets the trip I’ve put him in a rev fc
2.30 Haydock Frankuus 8-1
Frankuus & Larchmont Lad rev f/cSeptember 30, 2017 at 13:42 #1319440Betty F seems a reasonably generous price today considering she ran so well FTO.
New 1420 Betty F 18-1 EW
September 30, 2017 at 14:39 #1319455No luck there but tried Beckford 9-2 win next.
